The 3rd International Conference on AI Sensors and Transducers

As part of the International Conference on AI Sensors series, the 3rd International Conference on AI Sensors and Transducers (AIS 2026) is taking place from 2 to 7 August 2026 in Jeju, South Korea.

With important deadlines approaching, this article has all the key details you need to know about the event.

What is the purpose of AIS 2026?

The 3rd International Conference on AI Sensors and Transducers aims to build on the success of the first two conferences, held in 2024 and 2025, to set a high standard in a field that is evolving at an impressive pace.

AIS 2026 will bring together leaders, innovators, researchers and experts to explore the very latest advancements in AI-enhanced sensing systems and transducers

Schedule overview

The conference will hold sessions on an extensive list of topics, which extend over 27 symposia. Topics will include AI sensors and their integration in various applications, smart cities, and soft robotics.

For a full list of symposia, please visit the conference home page. The first ten symposia include:

  • Metasurface and metaoptics
  • AI-accelerated design for materials and sensors
  • AI-driven biomedical imaging and diagnostics
  • AI-enhanced bioelectronics
  • AI sensors for smart healthcare applications
  • Microfluidics, lab-on-a-chip and microTAS
  • Advanced sensors for robots and autonomous systems
  • Soft sensors and actuators for human-machine interface
  • Soft robotics technologies
  • Flexible, stretchable and wearable sensors

The sessions will be delivered by a range of plenary and keynote speakers who are experts in the discipline.

Event awards

MDPI is pleased to offer four awards for participants of AIS 2026:

  • Best Presentation Award
  • Best Poster Award
  • Best Student Paper Award
  • Best Scientist Award

Winners will be selected by a panel of judges consisting of experts in the field of AI sensors and transducers.
